What constitutes a Line Count Utility ?
Line Count Utility count a 65-character line and word lines where a character is defined as any letter, number or symbol necessary for the final appearance and content of a document, including the space bar.

Line count utility support the line count in two modules :
1) Count the Total no of lines & divide this by 65
2) Count the total no of word lines

Which file format support in Line Count Utility ?

Line Count Utility support .DOC, .RTF file format. It also provides both format at same time.

Does Line Count Utility calculate & display line count of individual file in a display list?

Yes, Line Count Utility calculate & display the line count of individual file in a display list by clicking on a file name.

Which information of the file gets displayed in Line Count Utility?

Line Count Utility display following :

• The number of files in a specified folder by user
• Total no of lines in all files & individual file
• Total no. of  characters with spaces in all files & individual file
• Root path of folder selected by user
• Name of file which is in process
  
  

Line Count information is available for Display. Also it generates excel file. User will get the line count information in a formatted excel file.

Which information is included in a formatted Excel file ?

Formatted excel file include file name, line count of each file and the total line count of all files.

How user will get only list of files in a formatted excel file ?

Line Count utility provide the option whether user require the information in excel file with or without lines. User can click on No Lines option and get the result in formatted excel file which includes only file list.
